The lashes are beautiful but they were really hard to get off the plastic holder. I scraped them off with tweezers and was as gentle as possible but still lost some feathers.

Feather lashes are notoriously tricky to remove from their trays. Here's a helpful quick tutorial that shows you the best way to remove them so the delicate feathers don't break off! There's even a tip to show how to repair them if something does happen:
